The closest beach 30 minute drive from the apartment. Once you arrive in Francavilla drive under the railway tracks, turn left or right at the next island for a selection of private and public beaches

Another beach option and the chance to visit the Trabocchi (various spelling) a unique and ancient fishing structure. The area is known as the Trabocchi Coast and has some beautiful clean beaches.

Passo Lanciano is the first ski area you will find about 30 minute drive via Pretoro. Unique dining at the restaurant in the centre, then continue up the mountain to Mamma Rosa for spectacular views.

A day out driving through Lanciano to the Abbey, lunch and then down to the beach. The Abbey is beautiful with spectacular views of the area and a very relaxed restaurant within the grounds for lunch

A lovely town nearby with views from the Majella to Adriatic. The wonderful Ristorante Pizzeria Ferrera has to be enjoyed with its a great wine cellar and tasting room, an excellent evening out.

A great place to go walking/hiking, there are many paths for various ability leading you through the hills into the Majelletta. A 10 minute drive, park then walk or walk directly there about an hour.
