A lovely Thai restaurant just that's quite close to the middle of Choeng Mon (it's on the corner of Plai Laem Soi 6). Mr Eung and his staff are really sweet and we love his food. It's a favourite to go here for dinner with some of our neighbours. We usually order a whole fish, penang curry (chicken or beef), and mixed vegetables. Delish!

We’ve been going to this family run beachfront restaurant for over 15 years, and we still love their Crab Meat Curry. They have an extensive Thai and Western menu. You can also use their sunloungers if you fancy hanging on the beach for a little while before/after your meal. The tables are laid out on the beach at night for dinner.

This is how Samui used to feel about 10-15 years ago, but now with all the modern conveniences of healthy food and fast wifi! It’s a great place to hang out for a few hours, enjoy some fresh Thai food, healthy western options and great zingy fruit shakes. There’s also a small massage place on the beach. We sometimes stop here for lunch or fruit shakes during one of our north coast paddle tours.

Old style Samui! It's a lovely restaurant right on the beach. It's easiest to drive here, but if you're feeling adventurous you can walk over the other side of the hill and over the rocks down to the beach/restaurant. You can also get a massage on the beach too.

Getting Around
Boontin from New Wave is our go-to car and motorbike rental guy. They can deliver them up to the house when you arrive. And they won't keep a copy of your passport, like many of the rental shops do. He also provides a taxi service.

Great day trip to Angthong Marine Park. You get to kayak around the islands, and then take in the sights. It's a big boat, so plenty of space to relax on the trip out to the islands.
