Ridiculously good. Best. Now there is usually a line. "Vienne", a new bakery, is seven blocks south on Wallace, near the corner of Babcock, and hasn't been having much of a line (yet). It's really good, too.

Fantastic wood-fired pizza like they make in Naples, Italy. Walking distance -- cut through the Fairgrounds. Nice outdoor patio and the south wall of the building is a glass garage door that is opened during nice weather.

Delicious. Healthy. Simple. I recommend the rice bowl (bibimbap) with korean bbq beef (bulgogi) in the sizzling stone bowl. Comes with fresh veggies, a fried egg, and favorful sauce (a tad spicy, but mostly just good flavor) to mix in.

Real-deal southern fried chicken by folks from Tennessee. Great sides, too. Great pecan pie. Beer & wine, too. Reduced hours to 11-5 Tuesday - Sunday due to staffing shortage.

New place by husband and wife co-owners. He's the chef; she's the farmer. Seriously. It's fantastic. Epitome of local and thoughtful, with dishes created to match what's being harvested at the time. Nice roof deck seating, too.

The staff is dressed up a tad (ladies in dresses and fellas in jackets), so maybe opt away from super casual. They're certainly not going to sweat you about it, but it's nice to respect their effort by reciprocating to some degree. (At least that's what I think.) If you have your heart set on the other end of the fancy spectrum, check out The Crystal, which is cool in its own right and has a roof deck.
