Best French boulangerie in the area, the owner Mickael is so talented he has people from Montreal coming to buy his bread. His croissants and chaussons aux pommes are the best I have ever tasted and I am French so not easily impressed when it comes to boulangerie goodies. His bread and other pastries are outstanding you will not be disapointed.

This restaurant has two locations in Granby we prefer the second which is located at 102 rue pricipale. This place is a brunch/breakfast place it is different from your traditional boulangerie, food tastes great and they have a wide variety on the menu.

Parks & Nature
Great for kids they have a huge playground and water games. There are beach volley ball courts and there is the cycling lane that runs around the lake which is beautiful. You can rent bikes at Velo gare right on the lake front next to the Mcdonalds

Great place for families to walk in a preserved environment you can even feed the birds if you are patient enough they come right into your hand its a lot of fun

Fantastic place to go hiking in the summer & fall and skiing in the winter this place speaks for itself check out their website for more information www.skibromont.com
There is also the Water Park to enjoy during the summer its the biggest in the area and only 10-15 minutes from the house, great place to spend the day. If its a nice day get there early to beat the folks coming from Montreal as deck chairs are in limited numbers.

Our favorite place in all the region, its has a beautiful clear and clean lake wonderful green areas to picknick and barbecue very family orientated and no motor boats allowed so very peacefull. You can also rent canoës and paddle boats for a reasonable cost. A must go if you have the time for the 40 minute drive.
Similar to Fraser but with motor boats and loud music more for the younger crowds to enjoy. The site is also beautiful

A well kept secret known mostly by the locals, small cosy beach with volley ball court and a few tables can get very crowded on warm days there is a sailing school and clay tennis courts right next door parking is $10

Great little to village right next to the US border, the surroundings are really beautiful ask at the town hall about the forest trails which are really stunning and you have the Pinnacle cider house within minutes drive. About 40 minutes from the house.
