One mile northwest of Independence, Oregon is a public-use airport owned by the Oregon Department of Aviation. It is a unique part of our community since the adjacent subdivision has homes equipped with their own hangars. Pilots can taxi their planes directly into their "garage." A nice restaurant and fun place to hang out and watch a lot of aviation activity.

Just stopped by in January to pick up some raspberry canes and literally got a new idea the minute I stepped out of the car in the parking lot. Hmmm, that's a new way to use those pavers! Beautiful pots & color combinations. 20 minutes away.
