Large and historic biergarten and restaurant in a beautiful old Bavarian square. They serve typical German fare all day long. By the way, it's a great choice for families too : indoor playroom (supervised by professional childminders) in winter / outdoor playground and supervised craft activities in summer. You get to eat in peace!

Parks & Nature
The Englischer Garten is one of Europe's largest urban public parks, larger than New York's Central Park. It has acres of lawns, lakes with birds and rowboats/peddle boats, a Japanese teahouse, scenic walking/jogging trails, a Chinese tower with beer garden, old-fashioned carousel, playgrounds and Bavarian "Oompah" band, the Monopterous/Apollo Temple, extensive bike paths. Take a picnic!

Right outside our door you can get on buses 190, 191 or 187. 187 takes you to the Ostbahnhof or Munich East station. The other two take you to the train station and into the city of you head west. Bus 190 also takes you to the Trade Fair (ICM/Messe Muenchen) if you go east.
