Dave Morris runs this fantastic sushi bar upstairs in the Snowcreek Athletic Center. He’s a trained chef who is currently directing his talents toward making great sushi. This place can get crowded on weekends and doesn’t take reservations so go early and take advantage of their $5 hand roll and a beer happy hour special, 4:30 to 6:30 daily! ( ask if they have fresh wasabi available, its awesome)

It’s changed locations over that time and is now in a well decorated spot on Berner st. near the Village. There are only ten tables so make a reservation. Also expect a longer, european style multi course service. All the tables are great but the loft above the kitchen is especially cool.

94 Berner StIan Algerøen’s iconic fine dining restaurant has been one of Mammoth’s best for almost 25 years. It’s changed locations over that time and is now in a well decorated spot on Berner st. near the Village. There are only ten tables so make a reservation. Also expect a longer, european style multi course service. All the tables are great but the loft above the kitchen is especially cool.

After establishing the now famous Whoa Nelli Deli in the Lee Vining Mobile Mart, Matt to an opportunity to open his own restaurant in the Village and knocked it out of the park! While this can be walked to in the summer months, its a beautiful trail on Forest Service land at the top of Mammoth Mountain that can be hiked, snow shoed, cross country skiied and all with your pooch and without a pass for the mountain!
