Sightseeing
There is an island in the lake that is nice to visit called Vinön. The ferry is free (all year) and you can drive and take the car on the ferry, but I think that it is nicer to walk, or ride bicycles. Last year they had bikes to rent on the island, but I'm not sure if they have that now. Their website is www.vinon.se (Swedish)
They do have nice hiking trails for a flat easy walk around, and we love going there to their little bakery and for a swim (summertime).
