I really recommend the Roti Johns, the Kueh Malaya, traditional Malay cakes like Kek Bingka Susu, Kuih Kusui and the kuih ardam! Try the teh-c special and keropok lekor! You won't regret. We have local fruits sold at this market as well if that sparks any interest.

Every Sunday, there is a weekly event called "Bandarku Ceria" which stands for "My Joyful Town", the city's roads will be closed from 6AM to 10AM to encourage citizens to reduce pollutions from cars and to raise awareness of family-bonding and health/fitness. The city will see a lot of food vendors (street food) and many others such as bubbles-blowing vendor, thrifted clothings and animal exhibitions and vintage/traditional accessories! It is the most fun as you can see the camaraderie that are the Bruneian citizens.
