These guys have amazing salads. Really, have the chicken salad. They also have ax throwing in the evenings. It is exactly how it sounds but, it is 10 times more fun than you are thinking.
Grab some good food, throw some axes, get some frozen yogurt, laugh your faces off.

Nations of the Four Corners is one of the most underrated places in Blanding, UT. Nestled at the east end of town there is a series of hiking trails and interesting places to explore.
Along the trails you will find ancient re-creations of pioneer buildings, Native American homes, tee-pees, hogans, huts and so much more. At each stop you will find plaques with information on each culture.
You will also find picnic tables, a tower you can climb to the top of, caves, a stream (if you hike far enough), lizards, and more. There is even an outdoor amphitheater!
Keep an eye out for cactus!

Recapture Reservoir is a small lake, if you can call it a lake. You can rent a boat, canoe, or kayak and spend the day on the water. You can go swimming, fishing, or hunt for crawdads. It is a fun place to spend a family afternoon.

This is one of five local parks in Blanding. Blanding is truly one of the best places for families as we have one park per 600 residents.
This is the park in the center of town. It has swings and slides but mostly, it has amazing grass, great picnic tables, and big, beautiful trees. Is an excellent place for a picnic.

A natural woods park. Seven acres of grass, trees, and a Frisbee-gold course. Picnic tables, and grills also cover some of the area making it a nice place for a family cookout. Hike the hill to the north to find the 3rd reservoir where you can spend the afternoon fishing.

Stop by the Wellness Center to play in the pool, shoot some basketball, play pickle ball, or take one of the exercise classes.
The SJ Wellness Center has an incredible walk-in pool in the summer time. The walk in side is perfect for small children while the main of the pool leave plenty of room for the older kids.
It is also next door to the city baseball fields, skate park, and outdoor basketball courts. It is a great place to spend a day.
