Drinks & Nightlife
Nice bar with indoor and outdoor areas - perfect any day the sun is out. Is usually quite busy therefore it can get rowdy.
When the sun is out, they also put out beanbags and umbrellas on the grass outsite.
The food here is also very good!

Iconic museum - great for the whole family. There is so much to see and do here that you can choose to do it all at once on a rainy day, or do bits each day!
There are also exhibitions from overseas however there may be entry fees - so check out their website to see what's on.

Parks & Nature
The zoo is great for families - not a big zoo by any means but still has the showstoppers ie Lions, Giraffes, Chimps, Tigers and Sun Bears.
Take a hat and comfortable shoes as its on a hill.

This grocery store in on the bus route so is the most convenient if you are not driving.
If you have a car, then you may wish to go to Countdown in Newtown - which is much larger and more competitive pricing.
