The food here is absolutely excellent (and the wall full of awards will testify!). Its a great local restaurant: reasonably priced and the service is excellent. Try their mixed starter and the paneer tikka masala! Great beers on draft and in bottles and open late too.

Sightseeing
This is a beautiful castle and the Queen's residence. Seasonally the interior appartments are open to view as is the beautiful collection of gifts presented to the Queen from visiting dignitaries, as well as the banquet halls and ceremonial china and glassware. The attached park is a breathtaking expanse of green with a deer park and of course the Long Walk which is perfect for a stroll or jog.

This is a beautiful castle and the Queen's residence. The attached park is a breathtaking expanse of green with a deer park and of course the Long Walk which is perfect for a stroll or jog.

The estate sits on the river Thames, there's a water garden and a fruit-filled round garden. It's a simply beautiful place to spend the day and you can have a wonderful afternoon tea in the hall or go for a less formal sandwich in the green house café.

Uber is a great way to get around locally in West Drayton and to the airport too. Trains from West Drayton will whisk you into London Paddington to connect to the tube network. You can also head out to Oxford for a day trip or to Windsor.

A perfect afternoon is a walk in Windsor great park and then settling in for the evening in one of the candle-lit nooks for a typically English Roast lunch - just be sure to book before you go because it fills up pretty fast.

This is a beautiful park with one of the country's largest Rhododendron gardens. The Arboretum houses species of trees from all over the world. There is also a pretty lake and ope fields where cows are free to roam. Very green and plenty of trails for walking and running.
