Very friendly and serves home cooked food, this is our local where we visit regularly. Not open on Thursdays, - Friday is Fish and Chip night.

Again we regularly visit they pub to eat, although they don't accept bookings so it is best to arrive early to ensure you get a seat. This is another favourite for locals.

An ancient clapper bridge, with a lovely circular walk and beautiful scenery. The best way to visit this is to go via Dulverton as you sat nav will take you to the wrong side of the bridge and there is nowhere to park, whereas the other side of the river has plenty of parking and walking.

South Molton Market Town
This is a traditional market town that hasn't been spoiled by big stores, there are cafes and lots of traditional shops to visit.
It also has a local pannier market on Thursdays and Saturdays as well as a cattle market on Thursdays.

Local supermarket
The easiest local supermarket to get to is Sainsburys in South Molton, it opens 8am -8pm Mon to Fri and 10-4 Sundays.
Or there is a local Co-op in Dulverton which is open till 10pm.
Or there is a shop in the local filling station at Newtown just off the A361
There is a small community shop in Bishops Nympton
