This was the Forest's last working coal mine. A rich history and interesting underground tours. They also have an excellent cafe (very popular with the locals) that serves lovely home made food. Why not finish the day with a lovely walk straight into the surrounding woodlands and foothpaths?

Speech House RoadThis was the Forest's last working coal mine. A rich history and interesting underground tours. They also have an excellent cafe (very popular with the locals) that serves lovely home made food. Why not finish the day with a lovely walk straight into the surrounding woodlands and foothpaths?
Only ten minutes away, this beautiful little town is full of interesting, independent shops. Great pubs, bars and restaurants too. Finish off your day with a walk along the river Wye.
