Sightseeing
Lyall Bay is a beautiful, Wellington beach and is just over the hill from our place. There's a great cafe on the beach called The Botanist. You can get great food and coffee (Wellington's specialty!) there before you pop down to local brewery, Parrotdog, for some more tasty brews!

Wellington has a well established bus network!
Use the Google Maps app on your phone to work out the best buses to take! I've lived in Wellington for years and I still always double check the best route to take - it's super fast and easy.
Tip: To get to and from the CBD from our place, take the 23e or 23z bus.
