Akshardham Temple is the new Spiritual Disney World of India. It is connected to the Hindu religion. Entrance is free for everyone and visitors get an opportunity to experience the depth of Hindu traditions along with exhibitions all day, water and fire show in the evenings which are extremely beautiful to see if one plans to visit this place when in Delhi.
Nothing is allowed in the Temple like mobile phones, cameras, or any other electronic digital device since photography is strictly prohibited inside the premises of the temple.

Lodhi Garden is a very nice place to visit if anyone wants to relax and walk around in nature and beautiful environment. Recommended to visit in the morning and evening hours since in Summers it is hot in the afternoon. It is also a nice place to see local Delhites hanging around.

Chandni Chowk, Main Bazaar or Old Delhi - It is a place known by different names but is a must visit since tourists and visitors are able to explore and experience the real India. An experience of real India meaning a visitor sees lots of people running around at one place at the same time, animals walking, monkeys and cows all around, tuk-tuks, rickshaw pullers, large crowds, crazy electric wiring, spice market etc. This is a place where people either fall in love or get crazy after watching it since they see so many things happening at the same time. There is also a very nice spice market where you can see all Indian Spices from different parts of the country being traded by people.
There is also a roof top from where you can see all Old Delhi which is very good for Old Delhi photography and videos.

Delhi Metro and Taxi is the best way to travel around Delhi
Metro is the cheapest, easiest and fastest way to travel.
Taxi Sightseeing Tour is also a good option if you have less time in Delhi.
In metro there are three options to choose from for a visitor.
There is a (1) tourist metro card whose validity is for a day (meaning 24 hours).
Then, there is a (2) Normal metro card whose validity depends on the money you load in the card.
Once the metro card is empty it needs to be recharged again.
You can also buy a (3) token for each ride but one will have to stand in the queues again and again to purchase their ride.
