Taxis
First, Uber is available in Brasov and we highly recommend to use it.
The best local taxi companies are the following:

Travelling by taxi is not expensive, to cross the city during the rush hour won't cost more than 10€.
As everywhere, make sure thy turn the meter one before starting your trip.

Clothing
During summer time, during the day temps might rise to 30 degrees centigrades and drop sometimes during the night to a lever where you might want to bring a sweater with you if you plan to stay longer on the terraces.
During the winter, usually the temps drop bellow zero, therefore you might need to bring warm clothing and shoes suitable to show and icy conditions.
If you miss something in you luggage don't worry, there are plenty of shopping options.

Night life is pretty limited
That means that during the summer you could have fun outside, on the terraces up to 10-11PM. People in Brasov usually go to sleep pretty early. Some bars are still open though.
As for the meals, I would avoid eating after 10PM.

Because Brasov is a touristic destination you shouldn't have issues with communication. If you need a street advise, try to approach a youngster as English is very common among to them.
