Garden of the Gods is such a beautiful place! Enjoy the majesty of the Red Rocks and learn about the history of the formations by visiting the Visitors Center! The Garden of the Gods Park is a registered National Natural Landmark in Colorado Springs. The park's famous red rocks formed millions of years ago due to upheavals in the earth's surface and erosion. The rocks are conglomerates of red, pink, and white sandstones and limestone.
Winter Hours: 9 am – 5 pm
Summer Hours: 8 am – 7 pm

If you enjoy hot springs, this one is a must! Mt Princeton is about 1 1/2 hours from the house, but the drive is beautiful and the soak is well worth it if you have the time! You can soak in one of the pools, or an easy short scramble to sit in the hot springs in the river. Beautiful views and one of the most relaxing things ever!

So many nice hikes! Dogs are allowed on all trails, but they can be off-leash on Yucca Flats, and must be leashed on all other hikes. Templeton Trail is definitely worth the time, super pretty with amazing rock formations.

Great place for brunch! They have amazing green chile and the BIGGEST cinnamon roll ever! So worth the visit. On a nice day, dogs are always welcome on the patio.
