Stunning beaches in the nature reserve. If you time the trip correctly you may be lucky enough to see the turtles hatching. About 40 minutes off road drive from Lemon Grove Villa. You may have to hire a quad or similar as most hire car insurance explicitly excludes off road areas.

This is a great place to visit straight out of an Indiana Jones movie. Why not book a lunch at the stunning Last Castle restaurant for afterwards.

Avakas Gorge RoadThis is a great place to visit straight out of an Indiana Jones movie. Why not book a lunch at the stunning Last Castle restaurant for afterwards.
Allow 2 hrs to walk up the gorge and back (1/2 day if you want to do it all) and wear sensible shoes. You are likely to get wet feet.

If you have a the time then take a drive up to the Troodos, a peak altitude of nearly 2000 metres above sea level. During the winter, there is nearly always snow, we have literally snow skied in the morning and water skied in the afternoon. The easier route to navigate is via the motorway and Limasol, our preferred route if via the Paphos forest. This is a full day trip out.
