Hiking
The most bang-for-your-buck hike! You can hike through
the remains of a 300 Room hotel originally built in the 1800s, continue up the trail to an amazing outcropping overlooking the Hudson Valley. When you reach the top there’s a one of the Catskills Fire Towers with a view that can't be beat.
The trail head starts across from the Buddhist Monastery at the top of Rock City Road. Make sure to park in a legitimate spot to avoid a ticket.

For an easy “hike” there’s a little path along the Sawkill Creek. There’s a water fall over a retaining wall, and if you go further along the path, you’ll find Big Deep, a popular swimming hole. Access is off Zena Road, across from Zena cornfield.

Impressive Waterfall! Can take your pick of the easy way or the hard way for seeing the falls from the top and/or bottom.
