The Will Rogers Memorial Center is a large facility with multiple venues and there is something going on there most days, with the most prominent usually involving ranching, cattle, horse, steers etc. Additional events such as gun shows, Golden Gloves tournament, antique shows, boat shows, dog shows, gem and jewelry shows, bridal shows etc. are also routinely scheduled.

The Fort Worth Stockyards is a National Historic District and is the site where steers were herded back in the days of cowboy cattle roundups for loading onto trains to go to feed the Midwest. Multiple historic buildings have been renovated into bars, restaurants, boutiques etc. If you visit I recommend eating TexMex food at Joe T. Garcias. Also consider visiting Billy Bob’s Texas in the evening; the largest Honky-tonk bar in the world hosts frequent (usually) country music events.

If you like NFL football then AT&T stadium in Arlington is worth a visit. Tickets range from $22-$35 per person for a ~2 hour tour showing some of what goes on behind the scenes of a football stadium.

A description from the web: “A refreshing haven in the center of downtown with various pools of water and green spaces, the Water Gardens are both breathtaking and relaxing all at the same time. The active water pool wows, while the aerated pool entertains and the quiet water pool calms. The gardens are open from 7 a.m. - 10 p.m. daily.” It is worth a visit but will not take much time out of your day.
There is a statue of President Kennedy near the Water Gardens commemorating his stay in Fort Worth the day before his assassination in Dallas.
