If you have a car or bike, it’s a lovely bike ride by Bde Mka Ska (aka Lake Calhoun) and through the quiet neighborhood of Linden Hills. A fine selection of local beers, excellent wines. There is also an amazing cheese shop that make sandwiches has a sitting area and has a decent selection of local beers on tap.

A fine selection of local beers, excellent wines. There is also an amazing cheese shop that make sandwiches has a sitting area and has a decent selection of local beers on tap.
Looking for a late night meal or local beer on tap? Red cow stays open late and the food is pretty darn good. Tap list is amazing. Also a second location at West 25th Street and Hennepin Ave. less than a mile, longer walk, take the lake stroll (Bde Mka Ska to Lake of the Isles) and make it an outing.

Full of waterfalls and sculpture, perennials and lovely annuals, a great place for a picnic stroll or hammocking. Plenty of offstreet parking and pay parking available as well.

A bit of a drive but two garden lovers this place is a dream! Open year-round, incredible gardens full of flowers, roses, sculpture, local wildflowers, and even a bee center! One of my favorite places in town, on your Way, drive by Paisley Park and pay tribute to Prince and see the memorabilia and tributes that continue to pepper the fence surrounding Paisley Park.
