Enjoy dinner by the famed chef with a view that can’t be beat. For those not familiar, this restaurant is located at the top of Reunion Tower (the big ball) and completes a turn every hour so you enjoy some of the best views of the city.

Imagine your favorite foods (chicken & waffles, brisket, or even Thai) but all on tacos. Throw in a great patio and good margaritas and you’ve got Velvet Taco. There are a few locations around Dallas but the one on Preston is closest to my place.

This new and increasingly popular bike and jogging trail is right around the corner. From my house, turn right and walk to Cromwell and make a left. Take a left on Merrill and you will see the trail up ahead. Turn right and you can ride or walk all the way to Central Expressway if you’re up for it.
