More casual and laid-back. We love the kids' meal for our kids. It's a lot of food. And my favorite is the sweet pork salad. I've also heard their breakfast burritos are good, but I haven't tried them yet.

Bowling alley right next to A&W restaurant. It's actually a really nice bowling alley and perfect for families, watching a game on the big screen or for rainy days. About as much night life as there is in Blanding :)

This is a really cool place to learn about the history of San Juan County and the early pioneers. Lots of information, fun photo opportunities and they often have events during the tourist season. Only about 20 minutes away from Blanding and it's all FREE.

It's as close to the beach as you can get in Utah. This is my FAVORITE place to vacation. Even if you don't rent a boat (or have a watercraft to take), you can hang out on the rocks, swim, and fish. The water is awesome and there isn't mud like other lakes - just nice sand.

Lake Powell
It's as close to the beach as you can get in Utah. This is my FAVORITE place to vacation. Even if you don't rent a boat (or have a watercraft to take), you can hang out on the rocks, swim, and fish. The water is awesome and there isn't mud like other lakes - just nice sand.
Dry wash reservoir, wildlife, hunting, hiking, trail riding, etc. Great place to beat the heat. In August, you can visit Dry Wash Reservoir to catch the tiniest toads. My kids have a blast there.
