Sightseeing
Burnham-On-Crouch is a beautiful town on the banks of the River Crouch. It has 3 sailing clubs and hosts Burnham sailing week in September. It also has a lovely little quirky cinema The Rio complete with sofas, it offers a selection of sweets and drinks and both entrance to the cinema and goodies are extremely reasonable. (you cannot take in your own refreshments).
There are many pubs and restaurants through the Town, and some lovely little shops.
Quite often of a weekend some of the pubs have live bands.

Just on the outskirts of the town before you reach Maldon there is a Roller Skating Rink and a swimming pool.
