The Manly shops are some of the best places for breakfast and coffee on the coast. There are a number of different restaurants, cafes, and takeaways here. It's a quick ride on any bus. All buses going this way into the coast pass 'The Plaza' where you can get on, and go past 'Manly shops'.

Best Indian food on The Coast. A walk from our place to this curry shop is anywhere from 10-20 minutes (depending on the length of your legs). A hint is to order it by phone then start your walk to pick it up, should be ready by the time you get there.

Parks & Nature
Go as far as you can to the end of the coast and you'll reach 'Shakespear Regional Park'. My family and I would go camping here every year when I was a child. It's a great spot for a swim at the beach, a walk through the forest/park, or to relax and unwind.
I would highly recommend taking a picture in the giant photo frame near the look out. It's one of the most iconic things on The Coast.

Shakespear Regional Park
1501 Whangaparaoa RdGo as far as you can to the end of the coast and you'll reach 'Shakespear Regional Park'. My family and I would go camping here every year when I was a child. It's a great spot for a swim at the beach, a walk through the forest/park, or to relax and unwind.
I would highly recommend taking a picture in the giant photo frame near the look out. It's one of the most iconic things on The Coast.

Our biggest shopping mall is a bit further away. Here you will get a huge range of stores from clothes, costumes, food, appliance, jewellery etc.

The Warehouse is a very common brand in NZ. You'll find them everywhere. They are our all in one shop. From furniture to laundry powder. From clothes to gardening supplies.
We are quite literally 50 metres from their entrance so they're always an easy option for anything you need.
