Take advantage of a fairly easy hike so close to Charlotte. If you feel like you need a little more, there is an alternative trail for those wanting to get in a decent workout. The top of the mountain is where you will see its all worth it! Bring a snack and water.

If you get on from 4th Street and Kings Drive or from Midtown (trader joes/target) you can make it down to Freedom Park and back - total of 6 miles from 4th street. You can rent bikes at Midtown shopping center (Target/West Elm) or Freedom Park - Metropolitan Avenue.
