My Favorite Restaurants
The Hanford/Lemoore area has a nice variety of good restaurants. These are some of my favorites.
This is excellent, authentic Filipino food. The Lumpia is very popular. They sell it by the piece or by the dozen. It is always fresh and crispy. The ponsit is delicious too with the noodles and vegetables cooked just right.. Zeny’s also has pork adobo and many other traditional foods. Their prices are very reasonable and the portions are large.
Zeny's Restaurant

The owner and head chef is a classically trained sushi chef. He has trained his sushi chefs well. They make excellent sushi, and are always willing to make your sushi to your specifications. The restaurant also has an excellent variety of Poke bowls, noodle bowls, and other cooked Japanese dishes. They also have bubble teas, Japanese beers and wines, and sake. The service is excellent, and the sushi chefs interact with customers while they prepare the sushi.

This place is always busy. The food is delicious. They serve a nice variety of traditional Thai food. Pad Thai, Spring Rolls, Pho, Thai Soup, Curry, Fried Rice, Thai Salads, Appetizers, and Chef’s specials. There is a good selection of vegetarian food, too.

Fugazzis
601 W 7th StThis restaurant has Italian style food. I love their bread and roasted pepper dip appetizer. They serve an unusual and tasty variety of pizzas, wraps, salads, entrees, desserts, and pastas. A full bar is available, with a good selection of wines and beer. Their lunch specials are delicious and a good value. The atmosphere is upscale but relaxing.

The entrees include lamb, tilapia, chicken, and beef dinners. For dessert choose from Baklava chocolate mousse pie, and cheesecake. The restaurant has a bistro feel, so it is comfortable and relaxing.

Plan to go early in the day, they sell out pretty quickly.

And recently a recreational center was opened which includes a movie theater, a large bowling alley, and lots of kid friendly activities.

타치 팰리스

The casino is connected to a large hotel and convention center as well. And recently a recreational center was opened which includes a movie theater, a large bowling alley, and lots of kid friendly activities.
Actual jet airplanes are on display at the entrance to the Base. You can see fighter jets flying just overhead. On occasion the base hosts air shows which are open to the public. The Blue Angels are scheduled to give an air show at the Base in September 2019.
