These two magical caves and beautiful surrounding gardens are a real treat. If the famous Bermuda sun fails to come out one day, head to the caves for some underground sparkle!

Parks & Nature
This is where Stephen learned to swim! This small but beautiful beach is one of the closest to the Nursery. In the summer months there is a lifeguard, a small concession stand and bathrooms on site. Take the Number 3 bus from outside the cottage along Harrington Sound Road to Devil's Hole and a 6-minute walk up the hill.

Devils Hole HillThis is where Stephen learned to swim! This small but beautiful beach is one of the closest to the Nursery. With an onsite playground and shallow waters, Shelly Bay is a nearby retreat for you and the kids. It is easily accessed by bus and is also under a 2-mile walk via the railway trail.

Bermuda's historic railway trail is a beautiful emerald necklace running much of the length of the island. It's perfect for walkers, joggers, cyclists and equestrians. Largely flat, please note that the surface varies from sand to grass to tarmac. Pick it up near the cottage at the junction of Jenning's Road and North Shore Road to head West. Alternatively, walk carefully, cycle or bus to the Eastbound trailhead on North Shore Road beyond the Aquarium.
A footbridge across Flatts Inlet is under construction as of August 2023 and will join the above pick-up points.
