NoHo Arts District is just 5 mins drive from my place. This is not really a tourist area but dancers from all over the world do visit the famous dance studios here :) The food and the vibe in the NoHo district are both awesome. So many good restaurants!

Entertainment & Activities
Amazing movie-themed park with many attractions for kids and adults. The simulators are incredible, especially Harry Potter and Simpson's. The recreation of Springfield is awesome too.
The studio tour is also fun and impressive. Full of 3D simulator.
Use the red line of the metro to reach the park, the Universal station leaves you right in front of the park, very easy.

Lots of excellent top quality produce and healthy food vendors with delicious offerings. Many of the vendors have been here for years. Stop by HomeboyInd Bakery stand and buy some fresh bread :)

Always busy, a bit expensive, but totally worth both. Their "fancy" drinks and "extra fancy" drinks are really good, even though they are quite expensive. Great for a night out with friends.

One of the best Ramen places in LA for sure! They have a great venue and good prices. The staff is always very nice and accommodating. Try their black garlic Ramen and their pork belly buns!

Great English pub in Studio City. They have a great British beer selection and they show soccer here on weekends. It's the home pub for the Arsenal supporters club. That's a scene, Arsenal has a big following among expats and locals.

Can’t afford to shop at the Marc Jacobs, Diane von Furstenberg or Helmut Lang shops on Melrose? Not to worry—Wasteland always has plenty of these designers and more, for less than you’d pay for lunch at The Ivy. This sprawling consignment shop is filled with rack upon rack of lightly-worn clothing and accessories for guys and gals, with a bit of vintage in the mix as well. The store also allows you to sell your closet castoffs for cash or store credit—we often spot celebs among the selling crowd, with garbage bags full of swag in tow.

Universal / Studio City Station is just 10 mins walk from my place. It serves the nearby Universal Studios theme park, as well as the NBC Universal studio complex. You can cross the street and board the tram to go to City Walk and the theme park, as well as the Studio itself.
