This upscale casual restaurant uses 800 degree ovens imported from Italy to create thin crust, authentic, Neapolitan pizza that is truly spectacular. I recommend the San Gennaro which has San Marzano tomato sauce, sausage, peppadews, fresh garlic, caramelized onions, scamorza, mozzarella di bufala, and pecorino romano. It’s amazing. Their cannolis are pretty darn good as well. The restaurant used to be BYOB but now it is BYOV (Bring Your Own Vino). They don’t allow beer anymore because some knuckleheads kept bringing kegs. Ahh well… Grab a bottle of wine and head over there!

It’s very walkable from the apartment and stays open until 10pm on every night except Sunday when it closes at 9:30. The food is delish and it has a nice, casual atmosphere. Kids love this place as much as I do.

It’s a short walk from the apartment, and when you go, be ready to wait in line. Many people say it’s overrated, but I actually love this chicken. You can order it with whatever heat level you want from Southern (no heat) to Shut the Cluck Up which BURNS! The sides are really good and I have to mention that I think the banana pudding is the BEST in town. Delish.

It’s a short walk from the apartment, and when you go, be ready to wait in line. Many people say it’s overrated, but I actually love this chicken. TailGate Brewery is family-friendly with indoor and outdoor seating and it’s a great place to watch a Preds game or other sporting event. If you’re fan of craft beer, take the tour on Saturdays and Sundays every hour from 12:30-4:30 for just $5 per drinker.
