This famous big Beergarden is a must see in the "Englischer Garten". You can have a walk from "Eisbachwelle" after watching the surfers... Enjoy bavarian beer and food while listening to traditional live music.

Drinks & Nightlife
This crazy location is a must see on your trip to munich. An old ship from the Ammersee was bought by a young man that is quite famous for improving munichs nightlive with events and it was put onto an old bridge (that leads across a road). It looks spectacular especially at night with all the lights on. You can walk into and onto the ship and there are several decks where you can buy some drinks and even nice (also vegan) food. The view is amazing.

An old ship from the Ammersee was bought by a young man that is quite famous for improving munichs nightlive with events and it was put onto an old bridge (that leads across a road). It looks spectacular especially at night with all the lights on. You can walk into and onto the ship and there are several decks where you can buy some drinks and even nice (also vegan) food. The view is amazing.
All around the Gärtnerplatz you can find several bars which a known to be the coolest in town. A lot of students are spending their evenings hanging out in this area. During daytime this is also a good area to go shopping. You can find green shops and pop up stores, as well as nice bookshops and cafes...

GärtnerplatzAll around the Gärtnerplatz you can find several bars which a known to be the coolest in town. A lot of students are spending their evenings hanging out in this area. During daytime this is also a good area to go shopping. You can find green shops and pop up stores, as well as nice bookshops and cafes...

In the summer everybody in munich goes swimming to the "ISAR" river. All around the Flauchersteg (which is only a 5 minutes walk from our apartment) you will find nice areas to lay down, chill and watch the people passing by... In all other seasons than summer, you can just have a nice walk through the "Isarauen" (Forest) which is very relaxing!

Flauchersteg
In the summer everybody in munich goes swimming to the "ISAR" river. All around the Flauchersteg (which is only a 5 minutes walk from our apartment) you will find nice areas to lay down, chill and watch the people passing by... In all other seasons than summer, you can just have a nice walk through the "Isarauen" (Forest) which is very relaxing!

It`s just a nice 10 minutes walk to reach munich`s Zoo "Tierpark Hellabrunn" from our apartment. If you are traveling with kids, you will like a walk trough the park and watching all the wild animals. They do also have nice playgrounds there...
