Sightseeing
A great spot for whale watching during between late September and November, one of my favourite spots for a great photo (this one is mine, just with a phone) - walk from here to Cape Naturaliste in around an hour - an easy grade 1 walk. Stop for a drink and something to eat at the Little Goose Cafe before returning. Or take cheese and wine and watch the sun go down - always stunning.

This is a great ocean lookout, the water swells and crashes through the rocks. There is a bridge you can stand on over the swell, I love it here.

Great for all ages - you can walk the jetty for a few dollars (under 18s free), or go before 9am or after 5pm for free - often the best time to walk. Take a coat/sweater unless it's super hot, as it can get blowy 1.8kms out! Definitely worth the walk, for amazing views of the coast, maybe spot a ray or dolphin. You can fish if you have the gear. Not widely publicised for safety reasons, but about a quarter of the way out there is a platform that the local kids (older) and adults jump from, with steps back up, if you have the nerve! For the less adventurous there is a small jetty that wraps around the swimming area to the left of the large jetty, which you can also jump from - great for little ones too.

Keep driving past the Bunker Bay turn to the end of the road and you'll be rewarded with this beautiful quiet cove, a tree-lined sandy beach and plenty of snorkeling in crystal clear water. Rocks to scramble on or just stand and look out over the ocean... late September to early November you may even glimpse the water spouts of the migrating whales. Note: nearest toilets are at Bunker Bay, a short drive away.

You can't beat the location, right on the foreshore by the jetty. Brewing their own beer, great for coffee and a bagel in the morning or a drink the afternoon/evening. Food average...we grab a drink here then head to Burger Bones for food!

The best bakery ever, hands down! Open from 7am in Origins Market Thursday to Sunday. Amazing cronuts (try the creme brulee), donuts, fruit tarts, vanilla slice... I could go on. Savouries too. If you're staying when it's open it's a must. You can buy coffee at Silas next to it and sit in the market to enjoy.

A must while you are in Busselton. This underwater observatory is at the far end of the 1.7km jetty. Walk out or take the jetty train. You can buy tickets online or at the blue huts at the beach end of the jetty.
