Getting Around
Main light rail and subway hub downtown about 2 miles away. It is a short lyft away or there are several direct buses that run along Sunet (2/4/704). Olvera Street is directly across from Union Station and ChinaTown is a few blocks away up on Boradway.

Metro Bikes for rent (currently $3.50/hr) at the NE corner of the lake. The bikes can be taken downtown and parked at numerous locations throughout the city.

Incredible vegan food. Any version of the "bowls" should make you very happy. Their hearts of palm mozzarella sticks are incredible!

They are a great way to get those buns of steel and get a true sense of the community and some of the beautiful views we have to offer. The lake is the heart of Echo Park and right out our front doors. Free yoga on the weekends from 10-11:15 near the lady of the lake. The park is filled with people all week long enjoying the tranquil space and have impromptu picnics and gatherings. Things really come alive on the weekend and it is filled with vendors and incredible street food (pupusas, mexican shaved ice, corn/elote, hot dogs, churros, and more!)

LA's second largest park with endless amenities. It is home to Dodger Stadium, disc golf course, and an endless amount of hiking trials. It is incredible how quickly you can escape the city and find yourself surrounded in trees. Or take advantage of the many lookouts giving you breathtaking views of the city. I recommend the trailed that circle around the Grace E Simmons Lodge. A 20 minute walk to reach it from our house or the park is filled with tons of parking.

It is incredible how quickly you can escape the city and find yourself surrounded in trees. Or take advantage of the many lookouts giving you breathtaking views of the city. I recommend the trailed that circle around the Grace E Simmons Lodge. A 20 minute walk to reach it from our house or the park is filled with tons of parking.
