Walk though a long tunnel into Whiteface Mountain, and ride the elevator to the top where you can see the entire Adirondacks and Vermont, or walk up to the summit via the stone stairway that wraps around the side of the mountain. Shop and eat lunch in the Castle.

Tupper Lake's Wild Center is a must while visiting the Adirondack's. It offers both indoor activities and outside things to do. It has wolf walk, a giant birds nest you can sit in. It's just lots of fun!
