“Heaven for all the seafood lovers, anyone passionate about buying, cooking and eating seafood, would love this market. Early morning around 7 is the best time to go, specially on Weekends, to get the best quality fish, avoid the crowd and find a parking spot.”

“Coogee is a lovely beach with plenty of food options and a tidal pool on the far left hand side around the headland and a womens only pool a 5 mins walk around the headland on the right. The Coogee Bay hotel is great for drinks and food or look out for Merivale in Coogee for world class cocktails and food.”

“A lovely large park with tennis courts and sports oval and grand-stand, ideal for jogging, with views of the harbour and large marina. It can be confusing on a map how to get there so our tip is take Roslyn St off Darlinghurst Rd turn left into Roslyn Gardens, and right into Warratah St, a 10 minute walk from the apartment.”

“Icebergs can be everything you love about Sydney, or it can be everything you hate. Those with even a slight case of reverse snobbery might accuse this top-shelf Bondi restaurant of being a little private beach club at times. Admittedly, fellow diners do have a tendency to give off a ‘comfortable on any size yacht’ vibe. But letting that get in the way of what could potentially be an epic lunch would be a mistake. Because when it’s good, it’s very, very good. At the height of its excellence, it gives you the feeling every restaurant should leave you with: utter refreshment.”

“Nicely laid-out green space in the city centre. Worth a few minutes to walk around and admire. Some lovely tree-lined avenues and the impressive Archibald Fountain. Some useful info boards around. ANZAC Memorial and reflection pool both beautifully looked after. Plenty of open space to lie in the sun or eat lunch”

“You can see this great safe beach from the roof deck. There is a beautiful walk around which will take you about 20mins each way depending on your pace. Take some snorkeling gear with you, if you can, and enjoy the Cabbage Tree Bay Marine reserve. No surf here but plenty of people catching the rays, or having a latte. For the really adventurous and fit follow a local on a swim from Shelly to Manly (weather permitting).”
