The space is artsy and comfortable with high ceilings and an open floor plan. A large quiet bedroom with queen size 4 poster bed is surrounded by plants with a view of the Manhattan skyline. There is speaker hook up for phone and musical devices, a work desk and dresser and still room to spare. The kitchen is great to work in with extra prep space along the opposite wall, high end appliances, pans and cutlery and a supply of coffee beans for the grinder and Melita filter coffee pot. The living room is sunny and large with a convertible coffee table that lifts and folds out to a full size dining table. Also accented by many plants it is a great retreat from the busy city atmosphere. Curl up on the Barcelona chairs with a blanket to watch a movie and unwind. The computer has guest access for internet, Netflix and streaming music on fantastic Bose speakers. There is also high speed wifi in the apartment. The bathroom has a full size bathtub shower and towels, linens, soaps and body wash are all included. Guests also have access to a shared back yard with table, chairs and bbq grill.

Welcome to Brooklyn! New York's most happening borough. Greenpoint, just north of its popular sister Williamsburg, is on it's way to becoming mainstream hipster but still retains an authentic neighborhood feel. Just next door to the building is an adorable little wine bar pizzeria where locals convene for vinyl Tuesdays and Sunday brunches. The neighborhood is packed with a variety of restaurants and bars from ethnic and divey to high class artisinal affairs. Cute boutiques, vintage shops and cafes make daytime strolling a retail adventure. there are 3 grocery stores within walking distance from the apartment including an organic market and several fruit stands. The laundromat on Manhattan Ave. is filled with vintage pinball machines that still work! You can shoot some ball while the clothes dry and and sip a lavender latte from the tiny coffee shop next door. At least 6 different bank branches line Manhattan Ave and 3 different drug stores vie for dominance less than a block apart from each other. McCarren Park is just 4 blocks away where you can jog on the track, do tai chi, play a game of ball or people watch on your way to Williamsburg. Or travel one stop in the opposite direction on the G train and you are at PS1 Moma.
Cabs come consistently down Greenpoint Ave and Manhattan Ave.
There is also 1/2 a block away the G train Greenpoint Avenue station. Its approx 25min from here to Midtown Manhattan with a transfer at Court Sq to the 7, E, or M trains. 30 min from here to Union Sq with transfer to the L train at Metropolitan stop.
The B62 bus runs on Manhattan Avenue making stops in Williamsburg with a stop at the corner of Greenpoint and Manhattan Aves.
Other busses - B24 (across the street from the apartment). B43 (on Greenpoint / Manhattan stop with B62. heads toward Bushwick)
There is also a shuttle bus to the East River Ferry on Franklin Street and Greenpoint avenue (1 block east of Manhattan) which can take passengers to Midtown 34th street, the financial district and even Governors Island. It's a great way to see the skyline in it's glory on a beautiful balmy Septemeber day. (website hidden)
