호스팅 지역

Pesaro, 마르케 주, 이탈리아

Boardwalk
Start your visit from Piazzale della Libertà, where the Palla di Pomodoro is located, which is a sculpture representing Pesaro. Here you will also find Villino Ruggeri, one of the best liberty style buildings in Italy, which is perfectly preserved. Continuing on Viale Trieste, a street which runs along the sea, you can find some of the best restaurants, pubs and ice-cream shops of the area. When you reach the port, keep going to the end of the wharf, which is a perfect spot to admire the city, take some pictures and relax with an aperitif in front of a picturesque sunset.

Baia Flaminia
Between the San Bartolo hill and the port, there is a natural bay that is really special: thanks to its particular position, during the summer season, sunrise and sunset reflect on the sea, creating a really rare phenomenon. Viale Bruxelles is a street with some restaurants and they offer many kind of local dishes and seafood, but also ethnic cuisines, such as Thai, Japanese and Greek.

Sottomonte beach
Along the south coast there is the biggest beach in the city with 10km of sand. You can reach it by car and you can park on the street SS16. Many beach properties and restaurants are interspersed with free beach areas. A cycle lane starts from Baia Flaminia and ends in Sassonia in Fano, so this long path that follows this coast is a great opportunity for evocative walking or rides by bike.

City Centre
My suggestion is to leave your car at the free parking called “San Decenzio” and you can go downtown by foot or by free shuttle bus. The most interesting places to visit are Rossini’s house, San Terenzio cathedral, Rocca Costanza (Costanza fortress), Palazzo Mosca (Mosca palace), Civic museums, Musei Oliveriani (Olivieri’s museum). Then there is Piazza del Popolo, which is very important for the city, so many events take place here, such as culinary festivals. Here you could also find its splendid Palazzo Ducale. If you like classical music or opera, you can spend a lovely evening at Rossini’s theatre.
Food
Have a taste of truffle dishes, passatelli with broth, grilled seafood from the Adriatic coast, fish soup, porchetta, piadina and the famous Pizza Rossini; have these great food with a DOC wine, such as Bianchello del Metauro, Colli Pesaresi and Pergola, or with an artisan beer. End your meal with a moretta and a good ice-cream.

Surrounding excursions

San Bartolo Natural Park, Fiorenzuola di Focara and Gabicce Monte
The San Bartolo park is ideal for walks or bike rides, so you can discover breath-taking views of the cliffs.
Those who prefer to relax in a secluded beach, far from chaos, should walk down to the Fiorenzuola beach; the rise to come back could be hard, but it is worthwhile.
Gabicce Monte offers a wonderful panorama of the Romagna’s shore.

Gradara’s castle
Gradara is the most visited village in 2016. Its castle has been the set of many wars and of the anguished story of Paolo and Francesca. Nowadays many tourists go discovering it for its medieval charm and for the peculiar events attended there. http://www.gradara.org

Fano
It’s an old town with roman origins and it’s still possible to see its walls and the Augustus’s arch. It’s interesting to go downtown and visit the historic Piazza XX Settembre, the San Francesco’s church and Parco della Resistenza. The boardwalk connects two different beaches: Lido, with sand, and Sassonia, made of white stones. http://www.turismofano.com

Mercatello sul Metauro, Urbino and Urbania
Mercatello sul Metauro is a medieval town and it still shows some authentic parts, such as important buildings.
Urbino is the cradle of Renaissance and it has nice little roads. Don’t miss Palazzo Ducale, Raffaello’s house and Galleria Nazionale.
In Urbania you can visit Chiesa dei morti (Church of the dead), with mummies perfectly preserved, Palazzo Ducale and Civic museums. http://www.turismo.pesarourbino.it

San Marino Republic
It’s the oldest Republic in the world; its symbol is Piazza della Libertà. The panoramic walk through the towers on top of Titano’s mountain is amazing. The ancient city centre is part of the World Heritage List. It’s really convenient to shop in the outlets of the area, because of the particular tax system. http://www.visitsanmarino.com

San Leo’s castle, Villa Verucchio and Montebello’s castle
From the impressive medieval fort you can have a wonderful view of the Adriatic Riviera. http://www.comune.san-leo.rn.it
Villa Verucchio hosts the friar convent, founded by Saint Francesco in 1213. Do you know Azzurrina’s story? Go discovering it in Montebello .http://www.castellodimontebello.com

Pergola, Cagli, Fossombrone, Acqualagna and Gola del Furlo
Pergola is known for the museum of Bronzi Dorati (Golden Bronze).
Cagli is famous for Rocca del Torrione (Fortress of Torrione), for the walk along the Burano river, where it’s possible to swim, and for the natural arch of Fondarca. It’s surrounded to the south by mounts Petrano, Nerone and Catria which offer the chance of open-door sports, such as trekking.
In Fossombrone you could enjoy nature in Pineta delle Cesane (Cesane’s forest) or the medieval spirit of the city centre, where at one time Della Rovere family used to live.
If you like enogastronomic tours, you should go to Acqualagna, the most important centre for truffles.
The natural reserve “Gola del Furlo” includes woods, fields, uncontaminated hills and a unique fauna and flora; a special ecosystem nice to discover.

Amusement and theme parks
Aquafan, Oltremare, Acquario di Cattolica, San Marino Adventure, Fiabilandia and Italia in miniatura. http://www.rivieradeiparchi.it
