Guests are upset over not getting a refund when business called them away. Upon arrival, I showed them around the house and asked if everything was satisfactory. They both said it was very nice and commented on how nice it smelled. The next morning I asked how they slept and if they needed any more blankets and they said everything was perfect. The sheets are 100% polyester, not nylon and a high thread count so they are very soft. They are also brand new and hadn’t been used previously as I have just started this and have multiple new sheets that I wash and change out regularly. There are no stains.i have central heat and air, as well as ceiling fans in every room. The carpets were professionally steam cleaned/sanitized the morning of their arrival as I do monthly. They never mentioned any smells and the window seal is clean as well. I checked the closet and it still smells fresh and clean (deodorizer is kept in there at all times). I have outside dogs, not inside dogs. There is a lock on all bedroom doors. The last guest lost the key so I have to get it replaced, but they could lock the door while they were here and she never left the house. Which reminds me, I told them the master suite was off limits and the first day she was here alone, she went into my room, went through my nightstand and left the drawer open and didn’t secure the door to my room when she left. I nicely reminded them, again, they were not to enter that suite. I’m sorry these people were disgruntled about not getting a refund, but they never said they might have to leave and they booked 12 nights and left a few nights early with no notice. I was actually going to try to refund it a few days after they left when I had enough available funds and he said that was fine, but she blew up my phone all day for several days so I declined it so she would leave me alone.
