The Granary is a spectacular Grade II Listed building that is part of Bristol’s Historic Centre. Designed by William Venn Gough in 1869 as a Victorian statement piece. Originally built for storing grain it later became a World Famous Jazz and the Rock venue hosting the most famous rock bands in the world. Iron Maiden, Dire Straits, Status Quo, Motörhead are just some of those that played here; in fact The Stranglers chose the Granary Club to debut ‘Golden Brown’.
