reviews on Airbnb need to be transparent but they also need to be true and it’s disappointing when you feel the need to lie about your stay with us. It shows your level of maturity isn’t much more than an adolescent teen.. In addition to guests hearing noise from the wood floors we have clearly stated we have children that make noise as well at times however that being said the noise did stop well before our quiet time hours. We have had many wonderful guests who have stayed with us, left us honest reviews, and never said a thing about noise at all. What Chris also failed to mention about his stay with us is how he struggle with following basic parking rules for our listing. We have it very clearly stated that parking is only available on the road in front of our house or around the corner but they arrived around 1 in the morning and decided to park in our driveway blocking me to leave for work in the morning. I woke up to a message from Chris saying to just call him in the morning and he would move his car. Well I tried calling him and his phone was off so I waited a while longer and finally had to go down and knock on the door several times when his wife finally came to the door and acted surprised and confused about this situation. They basically said they had no idea where to park and that it was my fault they couldn’t read their travel itinerary. If Chris and his wife stay with anyone in the future they need to book a place that has no one else living on the property. They are the most sensitive, picky, people we have ever talked to. Chris exaggerated everything in his review to be more dramatic or feel better about himself. Its like they were sitting in our basement apartment just waiting and listening for even the smallest noise they could hear and then complain about it. Sorry you ever booked with us Chris. Good luck with your future endeavors.
