Randy graduated from Seguin High School and SWTSU (Texas State University) with a BBA degree in Computer Information Systems (CIS) in 1985. He continued his schooling in 1997 with post-graduate work leading to the first awarded Texas Assistant Living Administration Certification. Nineteen students were among this elite group awarded the first ever state certificate.

Randy has owned in excess of 30 commercial and residential properties throughout Central Texas. In addition to over 30 years of property management, Randy owns a successful software development business in Austin, Texas. His company is listed on the Texas Vendor Approval List (QISV) and conducts business in both the public and private sector. The business is also a member of the state managed CMBL. Randy celebrates 30 years of software development this upcoming year.

Randy rehabs and remodels homes in his spare time. His most successful project was the building of the New Jerusalem Church in Buda Texas. With the help of two local homeless citizens, Randy built the 1650sq ft church from the ground up. The church features 10 ft ceilings, recessed lighting, 100% brick siding, a bathroom, an office, and much more.
