Dear Justin, since you wrote some false things in your review, let’s make some points clear:
1) bedsheets had small dots due to usury, as may happen unfortunately, but that is not dirt. You forget to mention the fact that, despite this, we replaced them immediately when you complained about them, if you had told us anything about it when you arrived we would have done that the night of your arrival, but you didn’t.
2) there is no construction blocking the terrace, it’s a scaffold that was necessary to repair the rooftop of the building, as you know very well those works have been urgently necessary to prevent leaks in the apartment upstairs. The scaffold (which has already been removed), was placed in front of 1 of the 3 windows overlooking the street, so you could have used the other 2 for your nice pics, even though, as you know very well it was still possible to open the third window since we opened it with you, when we came to change the bedsheets!!!
3) the works were necessary and urgent, we were informed about them by the owner of the apartment upstairs 1 day before your arrival and although we understand that that might be bothering of course, we couldn’t do anything about it because according to the Regional Regulation (that we showed you when we came to the house), there are some hours during the day during which those works can/have to be done, is to say from 8 am to 12 pm and from 3 pm to 6 pm, and they were definitely respecting them.
3) I will not even comment this point, I think that previous reviews will tell everything about the cleanliness of the house.
We have always been responsive, from the beginning to the end of your stay, no matter what time you texted us..we simply don’t like when people try to get total refunds inventing complaints about everything just because they are used to do so. This would explain the inconsistency of your behavior, since you wrote a bad review on airbnb, but when we said goodbye at the house you were smiling, thanking us and apologizing and you also asked for some friendly restaurant recommendations etc.
Luckily Airbnb made the fair, final decision about this issue and you didn’t get what you wanted, probably from the very beginning.
