This property is situated on the top floor of a restored barn, but because the house is on a hill, you still enter from the ground floor. The roof is supported by thick wooden beams. The best spot is the patio in front of the house. From here you have a magnificent view across a wide area of the country of Michelangelo.
You stay on the estate, right in the middle of the Apennines overlooking the surrounding hills and Lake Montedoglio. The oldest part of the farmhouse accommodation is an ancient medieval tower dating from 1400. Over the centuries the tower has been extended with outbuildings. The estate has developed gradually; at the end of the last century the present owner, who is still working on the farm, completely and stylishly restored the tower and the adjacent house.
