Upon guest's arrival, guest blew out a candle in my kitchen with the complaint that it was too strong. Guest complained about the wisp of cat hair (which may have been in the air and landed on the sheet who knows). I offered to change to another fresh sheet from the guest closet, and guest declined this offer. Guest complained the sheets were not tucked in whatever way guest was expecting - expectations which are still unclear. Guest unplugged a wax warmer from the wall and laid on the ground spilling wax on my floor and gave me instructions on how to clean it up. Referring to the desire for firmer mattress, I find that the majority of guests appreciate a Serta plush pillowtop, which is described in my ad, and guest should have been expecting this detail. Unfortunately as hosts we can have a full 5 star rating and raves about a sparkling clean home and one unusual guest can bring down that perfect rating. Due to the nature of this guest, this guest would likely benefit from reserving a room in a corporate hotel moving forward instead of a guest room in someone's home.
