Traveling business folk, vacationers, and world explorers, we invite you to discover Spartanburg and Upstate South Carolina.
Our gabled Dean Street flat is the top floor of a restored 1880 historic residence. It is full of light, space, and modern amenities. It has a great view of Barnett Park, and it is a block from the Chapman Cultural Center. It is in the heart of Spartanburg, a few blocks from downtown parks, restaurants, coffee shops, and nightlife.
You have a private entrance to a set of indoor stairs that lead to your large, second-floor, gabled apartment. The kitchen has a complete set of appliances and everything you need to cook and serve full meals. Nice, large dining area, TV area, gathering area, and work area. At your disposal between the apartment and the parking lot is a patio with flowers, a table, chairs, and a gas grill.
Enter at the driveway of 188 Alabama Street, into the parking lot that serves that business and several surrounding apartments. In that parking lot, you will have 2 spaces next to your patio and your door. If you need more parking we might be able to accommodate. You have full, exclusive access to the upstairs apartment and you have access to the downstairs patio.
Keyless code entry. You can call us if you have problems. During working hours we are available in the law firm across the parking lot. We can meet you by special arrangement.
You have two parking spaces for sure. If you need more we will accommodate. Brightly lit parking lot with a security camera. The TV is a 65" LED, curved, smart 4k ultra HD Internet TV with Netflix and a Roku streaming Stick. Lots of carefully-selected books for folks of all tastes and ages; get wrapped up in one and you can leave the price we paid for it, usually $5-10, on the counter and take it with you.
We consider this a joint project with our tenants! Share a suggestion and we will probably adopt it by the next time you come over.
What happens if you cancel a reservation?
Most Airbnb properties elect Airbnb's strict policy. We do that, too, with a modification to make it more fair to you:
Here's their strict policy:
-If you cancel 5 days before the rental or less, we keep all your money;
-If you cancel more than 5 days before the rental, we keep half your money;
Here's our modification:
-When you cancel, we immediately re-list the property, and if we rent it, we will refund your penalty.
-You can check behind us to see if we have rented it by looking at the calendar for the property.
- Quiet hours after 10pm. Family gatherings are fine, but no parties or rowdy behavior.
Anne and I are a well-behaved, 60-ish couple from Upstate South Carolina. We travel mostly to keep up with our kids, who keep moving around. Airbnb is a wonderful way to get into the culture of a local community. I am now allergic to hotels.
