The Lambda Zen Temple is situated in the picturesque town Glarus. It’s an ideal starting point to explore the mountains and still close to Zurich. If you are interested you are also welcome to join our daily program.
Lambda Zen Temple is open for daily meditation and offers regular retreats. Often, we will be hiking in the mountains or working as well as enjoying the garden.
Lambda Zen Temple is designed to be a public place, all spaces are accessible for every guest.
There's a modern kitchen with glass-ceramic stove, oven and dishwasher. Bialetti coffee machine and water boiler are also at hand.
In the wash kitchen, there's a washer as well as a dryer.
In the guestroom you will be by yourself. You can join us for food and tea for a donation.
You are also welcome to join the daily meditation periods, use the huge garden to enjoy the sun or go hiking into the mountains. There are many different hiking routes available starting directly from Lambda Zen Temple.

Zen Monk Alain M. Lafon has lived for years as Digital Nomad with only a backpack. After many years of formal daily Zen practice and an ordination in 2011, he joined Insopor Zen Academy in 2014. Now, he is head monk of the Lambda Zen Temple.
Alain also works as a lecturer at ZHAW School of Engineering and builds software products like Collecture to facilitate digital education.
