Guided coffee tasting with one of Porto’s best roasters

Taste your way through coffees from around the world and learn from Combi Coffee Roasters’ founder how to taste and smell coffee like a pro! . To start this experience, we will offer our guests a coffee drink of their choice and we will begin to talk a little about the coffee they just started drinking. Also the guests will taste the famous pastel de nata. • We are going to talk about the history of coffee in Portugal and how Combi Coffee Roasters grew into one of Porto’s best cafés. I’ll introduce you to the three coffees we’ll taste, describing where each was grown and how the beans were processed. • Next, I’ll guide you through a formal coffee tasting. I’ll show you how professionals “cup” coffees to judge the quality of the beans and identify distinct aromas and flavors. • We’ll talk about the flavors, textures, and acidity levels we encounter in each coffee. Comparing coffees is often the best way to discover how each one is unique. Note: Because of the schedule of our team a qualified member of combi will provide a professional taste session . Zero-to-ollie skateboarding lesson at iconic Casa De Musica

This personalized, confidence-building skateboarding lesson will introduce you to the energy, history, and community spirit of Porto’s thriving skateboarding scene. I’ll provide your board and safety equipment. • I’ll ask about your skateboarding background, if any. After I demonstrate how to stand, balance, and push, it’s your turn! I’ll guide you as you step onto the board and start to feel how it moves. • Next, I’ll teach you how to control the board, turn, and stop, offering tips and encouragement as you practice. When you’re ready, I’ll introduce you to a beginner-friendly trick such as an ollie. Throughout our time together, I’ll share stories about Porto skating, both past and present. • You’ll have time to hone your favorite moves or tricks with my guidance. We’ll wrap things up by reflecting with coffee and pasteis de nata at the bar inside Casa da Música. You’ll leave with an appreciation for Porto’s skateboarding scene, some tips on exploring it further, and newfound confidence in your abilities.

OUR GOAL IS FOR YOU TO HAVE AN EXCELLENT SURFING EXPERIENCE, whether it's your first time trying surfing or you are trying to advance your skills. We'll get suited up in the wetsuits I provide, grab the surfboards and head down to the sand. This experience is for Small Groups (MAXIMUM 8 PARTICIPANTS per COACH) from total beginners surfers. For the first 15 minutes we’ll be training on the beach, then the rest of the classe with an instructor in the ocean. Other things to note A container to change clothes (NOT IN THE STREET) and safe space to store your belongings (NOT IN A CAR). At the end of the lesson you have access to an outdoor shower. We will just do what a few brave people from Porto did for 45 years: enjoy an amazing night view in the most exclusive spot of the city! The only thing that was added is safety and confort... I will guarantee you exclusive access to the Arrábida Bridge's Arch; since I'm the guy who has the key to the arch (yes, at night I'm the only guide visiting it!), this is a unique and exclusive experience. We'll go up 262 steps to reach the summit of the Arrábida Bridge's Arch, where a quiet viewpoint lays just under one of the busiest bridges in Portugal. Up there, we'll have time to enjoy the view with a delicious surprise, and to celebrate the conquer of this national monument. In fact, this spot was occupied over the years by intrepid youngsters from Porto... the difference now is that we have steps, a handrail, two steel cables and an harness attached to it. This makes the experience suitable for everyone that can go up and down stairs, even if they have vertigo :) There will be plenty of time for sharing stories about the bridge and taking pictures. No one can believe it! Other things to note If you wish, bring your camera, mobile phone and/or go-pro. No special clothing or shoes are required, just something confortable (avoid short skirts to confortably dress the harness).

With a very small group( 6 GUESTS MAXIMUM) everything becomes easier you will have all my attention and the evolution will be faster. If you never surfed before our you have little experience this is the ideal experience. I will start for a small explanation about the experience, the first steap will be a litle warm - up after you will learn stand - up techniques, paddling, safety procedureson the sand, then will try everything on the water, the 2 hours will includes all the warm up, teoric part and the time to dress the equipment. I will help you all the way, showing and explaining everything you need to know, I have facilities/store where you can equip and store your belongings in security. I use only high quality material and appropriate to the student's level of education. Other things to note Since this experience depend on weather/waves conditions it can be cancelled anytime.

For the Effect we are perfectly qualified having as support two vehicles that daily leaves with the respective classes in search of the perfect wave. You will jump right into the action of your best surf session ever!No matter if you are beginner, I will take you to a safe surf spot where I'll teach you the basics so you can ride your first waves, oh yeah! And for the intermediate - advanced surfers, I will guide you to the surf spot according to your level and the weather conditions. Be prepared to catch one of your best waves!

You will experience the pleasure of sailing in Atlantic, sea front of Porto and Douro river, in my wonderful sailing boat. You will discover a different and unique experience. Moreover, if you want, you can also try to be part of the crew, helping trimming the sails and helming the boat. Be prepared with a wind jacket and some shoes with rubber sole. That is all you need! We will start at Marina de Leça (Marina Porto Atlântico) and will sail at Atlantic Ocean near Matosinhos and Porto coast. Then we enter the Douro River and we will go until the second bridge, D. Luis. In Ribeira we will observe the magnificent view of Porto and Gaia. Then we came back to Marina de Leça. You will have the opportunity to get a true nautical experience and see our beautiful town by a completely different perspective. Moreover your skipper, born in Porto, would be glad to better explain you our culture and answer to all your question. Bring your camera and some snacks. I am not always available to be your skipper, in that case I may ask other person to do it for me. The weather forecast can influence the original plan (wind; waves; fog; raining;...). Safety first! However, when there is no wind, we can do it anyway with motor. Contact us for different dates.

Welcome to the Surf Lesson! We will introduce you step by step to the basic skill set of surfing. You start with a comprehensive introduction on the beach and then start practicing in the white water near to the beach. It’s a secure playing field to learn the basic techniques in a safe environment. You will have access to the comfort of our facilities in the beach of Matosinhos, where you will find a space for wardrobe and wc. This class includes all the necessary equipment, insurance and licanças. You will have an exclusive dedicated Teacher. Other things to note For class, we advise you to bring a towel, slippers and a short and fit bathing suit, Please arrive to the surf school 5 minutes before class time.

I will be waiting for you at Porto's local beach (meeting point) to start our surftrip to a nearby Porto surf spot. We'll search for challenging waves in uncrowded beaches, since this experience is targeted for intermediate to advanced surfers. North of Portugal coastline offers also excellent surf spots, although not yet so famous, that in truth is an advantage for you! ;) At the spot, and before head into the water, we'll analyze together ocean conditions, remember safety procedures, and surf etiquette. During your experience, I'll guide you in the lineup, through the best banks, in order to make you get the most of it. At the end you'll be able to find that you got some great waves, but above all, you'll enjoy an amazing great energy of being surfed out, inspired by the opportunity to surf a new spot. Once back in the meeting point, we can hang around, take a beer at the local shop by the beach and soak up their surfing atmosphere. *Whenever possible I will provide pictures of your experience for free! Under request, I can always hire a professional surf photographer, for you. Other things to note If you're traveling without your surfboards, please let me know in advance. Surfboard rental is available upon request at an additional cost. Hazard insurance included.
