Just across the river, very fun to walk around in, there are great cafes such as the famous Cafe De Flor, Brasserie Lipp, known for the writers that hung out there.

The heart of 1960's poetic and literary life in Paris. Still mostly preserved. You will feel the soul of the city walking around the little cafés and bookshops. You can exit at Saint-Michel and go westwards.
